Kiruna to Abisko, Björkliden & Låktatjåkka: Trail of Waterfalls

Escape into the heart of Swedish Lapland on a full-day guided journey from Kiruna to the dramatic landscapes of Abisko, Björkliden and Låktatjåkka. Known for its crystal-clear waters and striking rock formations, this "Trail of Waterfalls" tour takes you off the beaten path to experience the raw beauty of the Arctic wilderness.

Your adventure begins with a morning pickup in Kiruna. After a scenic drive, our first stop is Bessejohka. Enjoy a walk down to the pristine Torneträsk lake shore, breathing in the fresh mountain air. From there we drive to the famous Abisko National Park. Another walk takes you along the impressive Abisko Canyon, where raging waters have carved deep into the limestone rock.

Next, we head to the spectacular Silverfallet (Silver Waterfall). A picturesque descent brings you up close to the tumbling cascades that flow directly into the vast Torneträsk.

All that fresh air works up an appetite, so our next stop is the renowned Björkliden Hotel. Sit back, relax, and enjoy a complimentary full lunch while taking in panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

Our final afternoon adventure brings us to Låktatjåkka. Here, we embark on a final hike up to the picturesque Låktatjåkka Waterfall. This is the perfect time to capture the magic of Lapland (your guide will be taking photos with professional camera throughout the day to share with you afterward). We will also pause to enjoy traditional local snacks and hot beverages in the wilderness before making the comfortable 1 hour and 45-minute drive back to Kiruna.
