Introduction

I. General Provisions

The tours are organized by Discover North AB, registered at Slaggvagen 16, 98 261 Svappavaara, Sweden, organization number (Org.nr): 559548-4436.
All tours take place within the territory of Lapland (an area covering parts of Norway, Sweden, and Finland).
The language used to conduct the tours is English (unless established otherwise).

II. Bookings and Payments

1. To guarantee a spot on the tour, full payment (100%) is required at the time of booking.
2. Tour prices are set and charged in Swedish Krona (SEK).
3. Prices displayed on the website in other currencies (e.g., EUR, USD) are for information purposes only to facilitate calculation. 
The final amount charged to the Client's account depends on the exchange rate applied by the Client's bank or payment operator on the transaction date. The Organizer is not responsible for exchange rate differences or additional bank fees incurred by the Client due to currency conversion.
4. The contract between the Client and the Organizer is concluded at the moment the Organizer sends the booking confirmation via email (which occurs after payment is made).
5. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel a booking in the event of obvious system errors in the price list.

III. Cancellation and Refund Policy

1. Cancellation by the Client:
   a. More than 7 days before the tour date: 100% refund of the paid amount.
   b. Less than 7 days before the tour date: No refund (0%).
2. Group Bookings: Cancellation terms for group clients are determined individually.
3. In the event of a Participant failing to appear at the meeting point at the designated time (no-show), the tour fee is non-refundable.
We recommend arriving 15 minutes before the scheduled time.
4. Tours start punctually. The guide is not obliged to wait for late participants. Lateness is treated as a "no-show".

IV. Changes and Cancellation by the Organizer

1. Tours and activities are subject to weather conditions. They take place regardless of the weather, unless the Organizer deems conditions dangerous (e.g., extreme cold, severe blizzard) - in that case the Organizer may propose an alternative program or decide to cancel a tour.
2. The duration of the tour may be extended or shortened depending on weather conditions or the individual needs of Participants (risk to health/life). The Organizer is not at fault for independent factors causing delays.
3. Some tours require a minimum number of participants (e.g., 2 people). In the absence of the required minimum, the Organizer reserves the right to cancel the tour. 
A Participant may purchase additional spots to reach the required minimum attendance and ensure the tour takes place.
4. In the event of tour cancellation by the Organizer (due to weather or lack of minimum participants), the Client is entitled to:
   a. A full refund (100%), OR
   b. Rescheduling to another available date.
   The Organizer does not cover additional costs incurred by the Participant (e.g., flights, accommodation, transport 5. to the accommodation/tour site) in the event of tour cancellation.

V. Northern Lights Guarantee

1. The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon dependent on solar activity and weather.
2. While the Organizer makes every effort to find the best observation spot, the visibility of the Northern Lights is not guaranteed.
3. Lack of Northern Lights visibility does not constitute grounds for a complaint or a refund of the tour costs. The tour is considered fulfilled if the service has been performed.

VI. Health, Safety, and Liability

1. The Client is obliged to possess their own travel insurance covering medical costs, rescue operations, and extreme sports (if applicable, e.g., snowmobiles).
2. The Participant is responsible for dressing adequately for Arctic conditions. The Organizer provides specialized equipment (overalls, boots) only if clearly stated in the offer.
3. Participation in activities is at the Client's own risk. The Organizer is not liable for injuries resulting from accidents, slipping on ice, or failure to follow instructions.
4. The guide has the right to exclude any Participant from the tour (without a refund) who:
   a. Is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
   b. Behaves aggressively or poses a threat to the group.
   c. Does not comply with safety instructions.
5. Children:
   a. Persons under 15 years of age are treated as children and must be accompanied by an adult.
   b. The guardian is responsible for the child's safety and obliges to ensure the child complies with other provisions of these Regulations.
   c. Children under 3 years of age are particularly exposed to weather conditions; it is the duty of parents/legal guardians to provide them with appropriate clothing/protection.
   d. Participants wishing to take part with small children must be aware of potential additional costs if the child's behavior significantly hinders or prevents the tour from taking place.
   e. In such case, the parent and child may be sent back to the tour starting point and will have to bear the additional costs related to transport provided by the Organizer (e.g., taxi).
6. The Organizer reserves the possibility to exclude Participants if they deem that a lack of preparation threatens the health/life of Participants.

VII. Equipment Damage
The Participant bears material responsibility for rented equipment (e.g., camera, tripod, overalls) in the event of its destruction or loss resulting from negligence or improper use.

VIII. Photos and Marketing
The Organizer reserves the right to take photos and videos during tours for promotional purposes.
If a Participant does not consent to this, they must inform the guide before the start of the tour.
